Holiday Hay Rides
Saturday, December 19th between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., horses and carriages will make their way through our neighborhood again this holiday season, with some new features to keep everyone safe and healthy.
IMPORTANT!
Reservations are required and must be made before 12:00 Noon on Friday, December 18th. Reservations can be made online HERE.
- The same system used for pool reservations last summer is being used for the hayrides.
- When making your reservation, be sure to select “Saturday, December 19th” at the top of the page, then hover over empty signup spaces to see the time for that carriage. Families should arrive around 5-10 minutes before their reservation time.
- Reservations are first come, first serve.
- Carriages 2 and 3 will be offset by 5 and 10 minutes, respectively, to help with the separation of rides. For example, Carriage Ride 1 will depart at 5:00 p.m., Carriage 2 at 5:05 p.m. and carriage 3 at 5:10 p.m. and so on. (i.e. A reservation for Carriage 3 at 6:15pm will actually leave closer to 6:25).
Our friends at Carriages of Colorado have introduced a handful of systems to comply with county guidelines, while still offering this unique community experience.
- Each hayride will last about 10 minutes, with a 5-minute window for carriage cleanings, between each ride.
- Hayrides will be limited to family groups, with a max of eight per carriage. To keep things moving, three separate horse-drawn carriages will be on site.
- Between rides, carriages will be wiped down using FDA approved dry cloths, so seats don’t get wet. Masks are required and while gathering is not encouraged, heating stations will be set up outside the clubhouse for families to stay warm while they await their carriage.
Food Truck
The Wyly Coyote food truck will also be at the clubhouse offering up tasty concessions like funnel cake, corn dogs and other yummy treats between 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Online ordering is available and you can view Wyly’s menu HERE.
Happy Holidays!
